Loza Taye, MS
Research Assistant
Loza Taye is a research assistant for the Johns Hopkins Toxicology Policy Research team. She earned a BS in Chemistry from the University of Reading and an MS in Biomedical Forensic Science from Syracuse University, following which she worked in the Department of Pharmacology and Physiology at Georgetown University. She is interested in using forensic methods to tackle global health issues. Most recently, she joined the Institute of Global Health at UCL, studying Global Health and Development, where she received a distinction for her MS dissertation investigating the effects of environmental exposure to per- and poly-fluoroalkyl substances on neurodevelopment.
She plans to use her scientific background to assist the Toxicology Policy Team in developing evidence-based policy solutions to improve biomedical research through non-animal testing methods.
