Join us for the 2025 Sommer Klag Advocacy Impact Awards Lightning Pitch Competition on Wednesday, November 12 from 12-1:30 p.m. This event will be livestreamed on the Lerner Center website, with an in-person watch party hosted in the Bloomberg School of Public Health.

The pitch competition features five Bloomberg School faculty members who will each have 7 minutes pitch their plans for shifting policy through advocacy in their area of expertise. There will also be special remarks from Dean Emeritus Al Sommer, Lerner Center director, Shelley Hearne, and the inaugural Sommer Klag Advocacy Impact Award winners. 

The two Advocacy Impact Award winners will be determined by an all-star Bloomberg School judging panel – and you, the audience!
